Purchasing Snowball Ranch American Wagyu Beef
We can sell as a whole, half or quarter. A whole beef will be approximately 350 pounds of finished beef in your freezer, a half is approximately 175 pounds and a quarter is approximately 90+ pounds of beef. Frozen meat is very compact and as a general guide, a quarter of beef will easily fit in a 7 cu. ft freezer with room to spare. *Note: Our cattle are raised organically on an organic ranch certified by CCOF. However, our packaged meat cannot be sold as organic due to the absence of an organic meat processor in the state of Nevada.
We are so honored to join the locally grown line of products sold at the Great Basin Community Co-op (GBCFC) in Reno. GBCFC now features our beef in their Food Shed Cafe (try the Hot Rancher) and in their grocery store.
GBCFC is a nonprofit organization that promotes the local food systems and serves as a sustainable cooperative model for access to local food. They've done an incredible job giving local producers a platform to sell their goods.
Spend an hour browsing the aisles of Reno's only food co-op. Enjoy a Hot Rancher in their Food Shed Cafe and pick up a package of Snowball Ranch beef for your dinner!
